Planning for the coming year

It is completely my intention to set up my planner in a way I can bind them together at the end of the year. I have found that in the past where I had been constrained to a set layout, my needs and wants will change the next month. Allow me to elaborate.

I love my Filofaxes – don’t get me wrong. But the inserts which come with the planners leave a lot to be desired. Compared to the Hobonichi planners, the paper is thin and the ink runs through the other side.

I also used to stick to a format the whole year through. But everything gets thrown out the window when I get bored or I don’t have anything to fill my pages with and then the format becomes a decided waste of trees. The pages remain woefully blank for days on end as I am caught up with parenting, and less about achieving goals and milestones for work and certainly less socialising.

I’ve got 3 active planners at the moment, my Finsbury, Lockwood and (the Union) Jack in Original. So time to get serious and think about what I would like to do with my planners.

I’ve got plans for you 3 so stay tuned … in the meantime, HAPPY NEW YEAR 2019! Stay safe, eat much and hold your loved ones close.

See you on the flip side.
