There was a quaint cafe which opened up down the street from us. Since we drive past it everyday, it would have been remiss of us not to have tried it out eventually. Well, today became eventually.
In anticipation of Bastille Day (July 14) tomorrow, we treated ourselves to a very indulgent breakfast platter of spicy salami, proschuitto and 2 out of 3 cheeses imported from France, some rocket salad, gherkins and that all important pork pate.
The pot of micro greens on the right was a table decoration. It would not be fine form to eat something directly planted into dirt in little glass jars in front of me – I’m not a heathen …
